Wagon Bangboards 2003 National Contest
Photos by Paul Miller
The bangboard on the wagon is used to stop the corn from going
completely over the
wagon box. A right handed husker would have the bangboard on the
right side of the
wagon. The husker would stand on the left side of the wagon as
they husked the corn.
Most of the wagons at the Ohio National contest had bang boards
with murals painted on them.
